EGR valves are one of the most common failure points on modern diesels. Our EGR delete service in Minster-in-Thanet disables the exhaust gas recirculation system in software — ending carbon build-up, sticking valves and the repair bills that come with them.
EGR Delete · Minster-in-Thanet
The EGR system recirculates sooty exhaust gas back into your engine to cut emissions. Over time that soot chokes the valve, the intake manifold and the swirl flaps — causing rough running, flat spots, warning lights and eventually an expensive replacement. An EGR delete in Minster-in-Thanet disables the system in the ECU software so it can never cause problems again.
With the EGR disabled, your engine breathes clean air only — many customers in Minster-in-Thanet also report smoother low-RPM running and slightly improved throttle response. As with any emissions-system modification, EGR deletion is intended for off-road and motorsport use only.
